This is the first time that Fostering Classics has worked with a Customer to restore their vehicle. The Customer bought the car as he has always loved the Porsche 928 and has dreamed of owning one since he was young. This example came up for sale and was, therefore, snapped up. It is a magnificent car and the design and technology must have been so advanced when it was launched. The model has almost a cult fan base and there are several dedicated forums of owners and enthusiasts.

Porshe’s legendary build quality is evident in this example, but it has been modified and not maintained carefully as it deserves.

The main objective for this project is to revert the car to it’s as new, original condition.

Significant electrical and electronic work is currently underway to most of the vehicles key components and systems.

The engine was not running correctly and this has now been diagnosed, ready to be addressed after the electrical issues.

Finally, the body, paint and trim will be addressed to restore the factory finish before the car is MOTd and handed back to the Customer.
