We are happy to offer help and guidance to potential classic car owners to ensure they purchase the right car for them. We have experience carrying out detailed assessments of vehicles and can provide technical reports based on that assessment.

OUR EXPERTISE
Nearly all aspects of the restoration we undertake are carried out in-house. This allows us to keep the closest eye on the attention to detail and the quality of the workmanship. When we do need to outsource work, we have a very tight network of highly skilled companies that we have carefully chosen to work with.
We carefully choose parts suppliers to ensure that parts quality is equivalent or even better than the original parts.
Bodywork
We are skilled in metal fabrication and welding to repair and replace corroded or damaged sections of your classic. Our attention to detail ensures panel gaps and fit are carefully monitored. If required, the body can be fully stripped by using soda blasting and then prepared for paint by us. Depending on the paint type needed, we either paint in-house or outsource to our carefully selected paint shops.
We can also provide a paintless dent removal service for your car to remove minor dents invisibly without having to respray.
Trim
We fully cater for exterior and interior trim. We work with the finest UK trim supplier companies to ensure the finish of your classic is of the highest standard. We can install sound insulation and deadening materials to improve the refinement of your classic vehicle.
Powertrain
We have extensive powertrain experience and can tune your existing engine or fully recondition and restore a worn out engine or gearbox. As well as the internals, we can also provide external cosmetic improvements to your powertrain. You can see some of our completed projects as examples. As the powertrain extends to the driveline and fuel system, we are experienced with these too. So if your car isn’t performing well or is clunking, whining or stuttering when hot, we can help with that. Please contact us to assess it for you.
Suspension and brakes
Often the suspension and brake systems get overlooked on classic cars. They need regular maintenance and checking to ensure safe and reliable operation. We can tackle all aspects of the brakes and suspension. We can blast components back to bare metal and powder coat or paint, refurbish brake callipers and servos and even restore hydraulic suspension systems. Many owners would like to sharpen up the chassis feel, so we can fit sports components or stiffer bushes as required.
Electrical
Again, the electrical system is often overlooked on classics, which can lead to all manner of reliability and usability problems. We are experienced in rewiring cars or repairing existing wiring harnesses or components. We strive to repair existing components rather than just replacing them as often the originals are of better quality than replacements. We can diagnose electrical and electronic issues, even on more modern classics, which have electronic control units, but little or no onboard diagnostics, like the new vehicles have. We are also skilled in fitting electronic ignition systems to replace tired distributors and improve the general performance and driveability of your classic car.
