This very stylish van is being restored on behalf of a Customer. It is generally already a solid vehicle, after a previous restoration, but is now in need of a mechanical, trim and cosmetic refresh. Although originally a UK van, it was purchased from Ireland, hence the unusual registration plates.

The A35 van was produced from 1956 until 1968, fitted with the A series 1098cc engine and 4 speed gearbox. It has a top speed of 71.9mph and a 0-60mph time of 30.1sec but returning 41.5mpg. By modern standards the performance seems sedate, but I can confirm following a test drive, it feels quick enough!

We are very fond of this van and it is such a characterful addition to the workshop.
