The story behind how this car arrived with us is both sad and fascinating.

Simon first saw this very car disassembled when he was young, maybe 12 or 13 years old. It was owned by the father of a good friend of his. The car was in a very poor state even at that time, stripped into components and looking sorry for itself.

Fast forward a few decades and the car remains in the same family, but due to ill health, the current custodian cannot complete the restoration, so we have agreed to finish the work.

The chassis has been renewed and the bodywork has been restored. The main task is to reassemble the car and ensure all the mechanical and electrical features are correctly connected and functioning.

We can’t wait to start this project, which Simon fondly remembers from all those years ago.
