Meet the Owner
Fostering Classics has a deep, undying passion for classic cars and more specifically the restoring of these cars. This passion originates from the owner of the business, Simon Foster!
Simon is a petrolhead through and through. He was lucky enough to be bought his first classic car at the young age of 13 by his Parents and as he was too young to be able to drive it, the obvious choice was to strip it down, learn how it worked, restore it and bring it back to life! This first car was a 1972 green VW Beetle. Fast forward a few years and Simon graduated from university with an Automotive Engineering bachelors and masters degree. As part of the postgraduate activities, he spent time lecturing Automotive Electronics to graduates.
Following the years of education, he then spends the next 19 years working for different automotive companies, designing and developing some of the worlds most technologically advanced vehicles. This experience was mainly gained within the automotive diagnostic and powertrain sectors of the industry, but also spanned other areas of vehicle development, giving a wealth of knowledge and experience.

The Fostering Classics team is a small one, with Simon as the owner, Nick the Classic Car Restoration Expert, Maja as Marketing guru and two very special members that deserves a dedicated mention, Biffer and Bubba, the English Bullterriers! They work hard every day to help bring all the employees and customers of Fostering Classics joy throughout the day, motivating them and making every day that much brighter all around!
Fostering Classics philosophy is a simple one. We source original, high-quality vehicles from around the world, fanatically restore them to their original condition and then match them to their new owners… You.
We offer an open and transparent development process to allow potential customers to see how their cars have been brought back to life. We feel it is important to have this level of transparency to allow you to have a real, in-depth understanding of the history, condition of the car and effort that has gone into it! We want to build trust and forge strong lasting relationships with all our customers.
