This lovely coupe was purchased by our Customer at the start of the year. It was running and looked generally OK, but it was clear that previous repairs to the body structure hadn’t been performed well, so the choice was made to fully strip the car and blast the body back to bare metal to reveal the extent of the problems. As you see from the photos, the corrosion was very severe and had been dangerously repaired.

A full and extensive restoration is currently underway with the intention to make this one of the best GTVs on the road. As well as the body structure, the engine and driveline, suspension and trim are all being brought up to the highest standard.

This is the third GTV that we have had in the workshop recently. They are fantastically usable classics and we can’t wait to get this one back on the road.
