This glorious Aston Martin V8 has joined us at Fostering Classics for a full mechanical restoration. It has been off the road since approximately 2003 and stored in the Customer’s garage.

It has Aston’s own 5.3 litre V8 engine and a 3 speed automatic gearbox.

The Aston Martin has suffered during the years in storage and there is significant corrosion to the sills and chassis, as well as the passenger door which will need fabrication to repair.

All the suspension and brakes require stripping and restoring and the engine needs recommissioning with new timing chain, gaskets, seals and rubber hoses.

Several electrical systems and components are not functioning, so will require attention to resolve.

The aluminium bodywork will be machine polished and any scratches and chips will be rectified, but there is no plan to repaint the car at this time.
