This Land Rover belongs to a friend and it was brought in to address some poor engine running, a driveline issue and some paint reaction issues on the outer panels.

The paint on the front wings and doors had reacted with under layers of the original red paint. The panels needed to be completely stripped back to bare aluminium before being repainted in a specially blended paint, which perfectly matched the existing panel colour.

The poor engine and driveline issues were resolved and a few electrical and cosmetic issues were also addressed to bring the car back to top condition.

We love Series and Discovery Land Rovers at Fostering Classics, so hopefully we will see more examples in the future.
