This was the flagship model within the Jaguar range when it was produced in 1977. Demand outstripped supply due to the trade union disputes of this period, meaning that only around 1700 were ever produced. This is the long wheelbase (LWB) variant and has great rear legroom and separate audio and heating controls for the rear seat passengers.
This car was originally Cotsworth yellow, but was resprayed white for wedding use! It has the range-topping V12 5.3 litre fuel injected engine, complete with twin fuel tanks.
The car came from our good friend, who has owned it for around 30 years. He is the 4th owner and we believe the indicated mileage of 43,000 to be correct.
Fundamentally, the car is solid but requires new sills, brakes, paintwork and chrome trim. The mechanical condition has yet to be assessed, but we know the car was running perfectly well when it was placed into storage.
