SAAB 900s Turbo
SAAB 900s Turbo
The SAAB 900s Turbo joined us in mid June. The car has been in the same family since new and has clocked up 220,000 miles. It was regularly used until 10 years ago when it was taken off the road and stored in an open barn. It had suffered from significant corrosion and rodent infestation in the barn, but it was clear that it was generally solid and worth restoring. Remarkably, the car started after fitting a new battery, even though the wiring harnesses were thoroughly gnawed!
Significant progress has been made on this vehicle to bring it back to a factory standard, with a full engine reconditioning, suspension and brake overhaul as well as corrosion and paint corrections.
It is well on the way to being probably one of the best classic SAAB 900s on the UK roads.
